sometimes a cigar is just a cigar...

ok...would someone, for the love of that big holy man in the sky, tell me why the heads of this wonderful 'tpd' find it necessary to continue to mis-classify crimes? do they really believe that the public won't notice, or do they just figure that there aren't enough of us left who care? we as citizens need to band together like never before and wipe the scum we call the administration off of the map. enough of the antics!!! call your councilman, call the state house, call whoever will listen and make them know that there are enough of us left and that we are not going to take it any more!

mooooving to trenton

ok...after approving more money to defend our most beloved and unscrupulous police director and his trusty sidekick (or is that the other way around?) and after this whole water fiasco, one thing has become quite clear to me. city council will (and I repeat) will bow down eventually and just say ok to mayor palmer and joseph santiago. almost all of you have read the rumour that these two bone heads are cooking up a new scheme.

  1. announce that the director is officially separating from his wife and he is now moving into trenton for 'personal reasons.'

  2. find and buy a house in trenton to make the situation cozy (i have a home for you here in the east mr. santiago, you know, the are you have been ignoring?)

  3. let by gones be by gones and laugh and laugh and laugh.

  4. when council meets to decide if what we have done in the past is legal or not, they will more than easily bow down and say 'well...just don't do it again'

now come on...admit it...you smell it coming too don't you? you can admit it, we are all friends here, or at least trentonians. and then what are we going to do? I suggest you keep those phone numbers handy, specifically the ones of your city council person (and the trentonian, the times, nj101.5, bob ingle, etc, etc, etc)

national night out

this year, national night out will be held on august 5th. while i am a bit biased because i am in the east (villa park), and i suggest you visit, you should make an attempt to hang out in your neighborhoods and whatever events they may have going on. it is a chance for you to meet your neighbors, enjoy summer summer fun and food, and generally just have a good time. here in trenton, villa park has had the largest turnout of late, but that does not prevent others from attempting to beat that (as a matter of fact, i encourage it!)
it might even help us get our minds off of the craziness that has been going down lately and take back our streets.
hope to see you out there!!!

Trenton needs a kick in the bootie!

..and I am not just talking about the administration (although that would be a nice start.) the people here, who reside in this wonderful city, need a reality check. the city is loaded with freeloading low lifes who expect a handout at ever corner, and when they don't get that handout they complain (and complain, and complain.) and when that doesn't see results, they "take it to the newspaper" in hopes that "others" will come to their aid.

i speak primarily of those who want to get more pay for what they don't do, by getting a promotion. this promotion can only come, they think, if another individual is removed from their position. so to make that happen, they start to whine, bitch, and complain, until someone listens. these types of people are the same ones who drive city trucks all over god's creation when they should actually be working. people who take the equipment off of these trucks and sell them to their friends, or better yet, try to get paid overtime for sitting on their fat asses while others do the work necessary.

if all of this sounds vague, it is! all of this is from the inside, but you will not hear anything about it in the newspapers unless said people complaint AGAIN in hopes that they can get another handout.

i am disgusted with the people in this city who blame me (and everyone else) for their problems and are only seeking gains without actually working to get those gains! it is not our fault that slackers don't want to do their work! who don't want to make their own lives better, but want us to do that for them while they sit back and don't even say "thanks!"

Sometimes it's the little things...

It really is. I consider myself an EXTREMELY patient man. But lately, it has started to wear pretty thin!!! I am sure all of you out there have a few people that you work with that just piss you off, or get under your skin. We have all been there.

But nothing gets my goat more lately than people wandering around the office, jerking the perverbial bone, wandering in an hour, maybe two, late, taking hour and a half lunches AND getting paid more than me. Add all of that on top of those people asking ME questions...Just seems inappropriate!

I really thought that kindergarten was over a long time ago, and now I see that we have graduated to find ourselves right in the back of play-doh alley with our blankets and binkies, patiently awaiting ciesta time!

Check
THIS out, and see how many of these you work with....I bet there is more than one in each category!
